Last week was Baird Gives Back Week! We are thankful that Baird provides us time away from the office to volunteer at local charities and impact the community. This year DDK spent time at the The Hunger Task Force of Wisconsin. We helped in the packing of 480 food boxes for their StockBox program!
The Stockbox program is a box of healthy foods delivered to low-income Wisconsin seniors for free. Each box contains 16 nutritious items including rice, cereal, juice, beef stew, pasta and vegetables. Each month they deliver nearly 10,000 boxes to seniors, helping them stretch their budgets.
